A li’l story about how we began…

 

BAGit Deliveries has been in business since March 2020. We opened within a week of the COVID-19 hard lockdown.


We started by helping with grocery deliveries and thus minimizing the amount of people going to the grocery stores. Some stores started with call and collect as well as deliveries and soon realised that too many people needed this service and did not want to leave their homes.

 

After operating for one grocery store (who ended up closing their own delivery service as there were too many orders to handle) and getting a whole team from the store to prepare the orders, we had a team of BAGit drivers completing the deliveries. We delivered 150 – 200 grocery orders per day from this one store.

 

What a time this was and in the end, we didn’t receive anything less than 5/5 rating for our service, with thanks to our drivers, the store employees and BAGit who made it work.


BAGit was also contacted by other stores to assist during the hard lockdown as their orders also increased significantly.


We then expanded our delivery operation to other grocery stores around Centurion to spread the workload between stores and keep the preparation time shorter.


Subsequently, we added restaurant and takeaway deliveries.


BAGit has continued deliveries for all our stores through WhatsApp from March 2020 until current and we have maintained our quality 5/5 service.

 

Where we are now…


We have launched the BAGit Application, the online mall. We are very excited to take your shopping online with multiple store types for customer convenience.
